one day after my last post...

My waters boroke in the midle of the city, and I had to go to the hospital...

Wat too early I thought, for our litle baby to come,...

she waited and kept us praying for everything to be alright, and 5 days later, on the 13th August, 5 weeks earlier than expected our daughter Mathilde Francisca was born....

She is now 2 months old and doing great, but if I didn't have much time for scrapping and cards when pregnant, now I even have les, but than again,.. with such a blessing, ... who cares, it will come again, and for now I just want to enjoy....

I am alive,... and she is kicking!

My blog has been still the last couple of months.... there is a big and good reason for that, which I want to share.... I did get a bit of a scrapper's block, I think it happenend becaouse of all the other worries and priorities in my head,... and in my body....

I am now 7,5 months pregnant!!!!

So for the coming period I forsee that I will not be coming here that much, but I have a REALLY GOOD REASON FOR IT!

The Cure @ Ahoy

So, this has nothing to do with cards or scrap, but yesterday night, we went to Roterdam, for a concert of The Cure, and gosh, those guys still rock!!! 3 hour concert, 3 encores, and 38 musics!

The sold out Ahoy was crazy singing along hits like Pictures of you or Just like heaven, but moments like Kyoto song were taking us back in time, again and again....

LOVED IT!!!!

Time flies...

The last copuple of weeks haven’t been very productive for me, both card wise and LO’s wise ( shame, shame, shame!) To help the chaos, I am having lots of problems with internet, so I still need to uploade some photos!!!

Still, here is one magnolia card, coloured with copics which I made the shortly ago. Paper is from We are Memory Keepers, prima flowers, scrappers floss, rusty pickle button, and the text is from the QK cookie cutters.

But,....
I am glad that this "unproductivity" didn’t happen to everyone…. and that for example some of my DT colleagues are working on full gas!

Some more cards

De laatste twee weeken ben ik niet echt onwijs bezig geweest met kaarten en scrappen,
Maar toen ik deze Rakles afdrukjes van Inge ( bedankt meid!!!), heb gekregen kon ik het gewoon niet laten!
Een kaart is gekleurd met copics en die andere met prisma color potloden. Voor de prisma liefhebbers, een hele goed nieuws: deze zijn ook nu te kopen bij CardArt!!!

Gebruikt: Bazzill, PP Heidi grace designs ( eerste Kaart) en Scenic Route ( tweede kaart).

Knopjes, lint, QK cookie Cutter Tags en lemonade alphabet, scrappers floss.

I haven’t been as productive as I wanted the last two weeks, but here are two cards which I made for a contest. I got these Rakles from Inge ( bedankt meid!!!), and couldn’t have enough of them!
I have coloured one with copics, and the other with Prismacolor pencils. These are hard to find in Holland, so I am glad you can buy them now at CardArt!!!

I miss the summer!

Ik mis het mooie weer,....de zoon is niet buiten te merken, dus af en toe doe ik mijn ogen dicht en droom over onze vakantie in Curacao!

I miss the sun, and the warmt, and because the sun is not shinning at all today, I just close my eyes and dream about our last holidays in Curacao!

Dolphins

Even iets anders dan winter op een grijs dag zoals vandaag,.... een beetje zon uit de caribisch gebied!

We hebben tijdens onze vakantie in Curacao een dolphin encounter meegemaakt, wat was dat prachtig!!!! Ik ben blij dat we genoeg fotos hebben gemaakt voor een paar LO's!

While we were in Curacao this summer, one of my childhood dreams came true, we manage to have a dolphin encounter !!!

I think the smile on my face says it all, it was "Just great"!

Winter

Ik weet niet wat het is, maar ik ben wel in een "Winter mood".... Dus bij deze, weer een winter kaart, deze keer met KI memories papier ( oud, dus ik blijf af en toe bij Carmen's goed voornemen!LOL), strass steentjes, ribbon en zilver gliters bij de leters ( gemaakt met QK lemonade cookie cutters). De stempel is van Magnolia, gekleurd met copics.

No idea what it is, but I am on “winter mood” therefore, here is anotrher card celebrating the season.
I did follow Carmen’s decision for 2008 of using more old paper! :-) This paper
is from KI memories, and I also used glitters, ribbon and QK lemonade cookie cutters for the words.The stamp is from Magnolia, and it was coloured with copics.

CardArt Kit

Deze week heb ik de Januari Cardkit van CardArt ontvangen, zo leuk! Deze keer, met Doodlebug één van mijn favorites dus metteen lekker aan de slag! Ook de kleuren vond ik super, en deze twee Sugar Nellie stempels passen perfect bij!

Ik vond ook heel leuk om met die bazzill borduur doodle te werken!

Accents waren gemaakt met tourqoise glitters.

Eentje was gekleured met prismacolor, en die andere met copics.

This week I got the January cardkit from CardArt , this time with Doodlebug , one of my favorite designpaper brands, so I imediattely made this two cards. I think these two sugar Nellie stamps are really suitable for this!

I just can’t get enough from my new Sugar Nellie stamps, so here is another card, and this time, under Carmen’s good decisions for 2008, made with older paper!

De eerste week van het jaar is nu bijna op, maar ik ben blij dat ik toch wel tijd heb gehaad om met mijn nieuwe stempels te spelen!

Card art Guerst Designer

Ik ben zooooooo blij te melden dat ik ben uitgenodigd om guest designer voor Card Art te zijn!
Wat een super manier om 2008 te beginen!!!!
Carmen en Inge , onwijs bedankt voor deze eer en kans, ik ga mijn best doen om mooie creaties te bedenken, zoals iedereen gewend is bij Card Art !
Hierbij een card over een paar belangrijke dingen dat ik niet wil vergeten in 2008. Deze is gekleurd met copic markers, en hier heb ik gewoon SEI papier (winter lijn) gebruikt, met bazzilll , ribbon, knopjes, scrappers floss en glitters bij.
